A full-service lactation clinic. We offer full professional breastfeeding consultations - both in office and in your home (limited home-visit area). We also host mother-baby groups, offer several different classes, and provide services such as bra-fittings and pump demonstrations. We offer rental and purchase breastpumps (Medela and Ameda), bras, Moby Wrap and Maya Wrap slings, books, pillows and much more! Our prices are generally lower than the large retail stores!

We've been in business since 2002
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service is Lactation Consulting -- that is, helping women and babies, one-on-one, who are having difficulties with or questions about breastfeeding.
We also offer a wide variety of products, classes, meeting groups etc., so that breastfeeding moms can find everything they need in one place!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been working in the field of lactation since 1994. I became interested in lactation after the birth of my daughter... my background prior to that was biology and veterinary medicine! I am also active in, and current president of, our local professional group: Northern Illinois Lactation Consultants Association.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are the first non-affiliated, free-standing lactation clinic in Lake County! We offer moms an unprecidented level of service, while keeping our prices below those of many larger retailers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location, but our inventory is expanding all the time!

We are located on the NW corner of Hawley and Seymour in Mundelein... just one block east of Rt. 45.

Which areas do you service?
We have clients come from all over Northern Illinois and even Southern Wisconsin! As far as home-visits go, we only offer those in Mundelein, Vernon Hills, and Libertyville at this time.

What are your hours of operation?
We have walk-in hours (no appointment necessary) Monday thru Friday, 11:00 a.m. - 3 p.m.; & Wed. from 5-7 p.m.
We also offer appointment times (no extra charge) weekday afternoons or evenings, AND on Sundays.
